EDES is an accredited institute of National Institute of electronics and information technology(NIELIT) for both the Hardware and Software courses and been pioneer in spreading quality computer education in J&K Region for the last 25 years. The centre by virtue of its vast experience in the field of education has developed Expertise in the area of Electronics and Information Technology and has developed a number of courses which are job oriented and are highly in demand in the market. Apart from this the centre has also developed courses to suite the requirements of primary, middle, Secondary and Hr. Secondary School going children.

1993:     Established and started operation in non-formal trade.
1996:     Registered under societies Registration Act by J&K Govt. under name and style of Ess Dee Education Society (EDES).
1997:     Started at 78/A, Gol Puli, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
1998:     Institute selected by Directorate of Rural Development for training of Sponsored students under try some.
1999:     Reorganisation granted for provisional “O” Level DOEACC Courses at Jammu & Udhampur.
2001:     Reorganisation extended “A” Level Provisional at Jammu.
2002:     Reorganisation granted for full reorganisation for “O” Level at Jammu.
2003:     Full Accreditation for “A” Level course at Jammu.
2004:     Full Accreditation for “O” Level course at Jammu.
2004:     EDES is against register under all Indian Society Registration Act under the same name and style Ess Dee Educational Society at Jewel Chowk, Jammu.
2004:     EDES is again selected for imparting Computer Education to in service Govt. and officials of other Departments by the state Govt. Education as well as planning Department.
2005:     EDES is further selected for imparting Computer Training to the in service Employees of the J&K State from the rank of Jr.  Assistant to Gazetted and non-Gazetted Level.
2006:     EDES started Hardware course like Diploma and Certificate for assembling troubling and maintenance/MSCE, CCNA.
2007:     EDES in further selected in the panel of Army H.Q New Delhi for imparting DOEACC “A” Level course to the Army officers in the Rank Col. For getting study leave for Two Years.
2008:     EDES is further got his place in the Panel H.Q Jammu frontier border security forces (Communication Branch) Paloura Camp Jammu for imparting Computer. Software/Hardware and Networking Courses to B.S.F Personal.
2010:     C-DAC an esteemed organisation of ministry of Information and Technology also approved the EDES/DOEACC for conducting advance courses of Computer Hardware and Networking for below poverty Line Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir and more than 250 Candidates get trained in the year 2010.
2010:     Finally EDES have been applied in DOEACC H.Q for granted “B” Level.
2010:     Get ISO 9001:2008 approved in quality of conducting Computer Course.
2011:     For Placement tie up the Multinational Company and Corporate House.
2012:     New set up and establishment of new building at Opp. J&K Bank ATM, Canal Road, Jammu with High/Tech Computer Lab of Software and Hardware with online study and Examination.
2013:     Starting of World class magazine namely Street Voice which help the students for placement and Guidance for Competitive Aspirant.
2014:     Both Building are selected for conducting Central Level UPSC and other Central Govt. Examination.
2015:     EDES/DOEACC again started Banking Entrance Course. Team of Export have been Constituted for Banking Entrance Examination.
2015:     Banking Course have been included in the Diploma of Computer Course so that Student Should not pay fee separated for Banking Course.
2019:     EDES again selected by Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour & Employment for training of Sponsored Students.
2022:     EDES again selected by Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour & Employment for training of Sponsored Students.
2023:     EDES again selected by Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour & Employment for training of Sponsored Students.
2023:     EDES collaborated with NCSC Employment office Govt. of India and NIELIT organised a Mega Job Fair for Candidates at Opp. J&K Bank ATM, Canal Road, Jammu.
2024:     EDES Organised a Career Talk on Stress Management collaborated with NCSC Employment office Govt. of India.
